What a fun and perfect PAWSitive Ending. We love stories like this! Thank you for remember 3:3:3.

“It has been a little over four weeks that Milton has come home with us! He is such a sweet little man who loves to give kisses and sleep under your blankets.

We were able to spend the first week home with him after his adoption, and we thought it would be extra! All the articles online say to spend a weekend with your new puppy after adoption and we had a whole week.

Not so fast…it didn’t go well when it was time for us to go back to work. Milton destroyed everything and cried the whole time. My husband and I rearranged our work schedules and someone was home with him for almost 3 weeks. We left for short periods and then came back. Milton thought every time we left, we weren’t going to return so we needed to teach him that we would. I remembered reading through the 3,3,3 article that came home with Milton and those first 3 weeks I kept going back to it! He needed time to adjust, potty train, and learn to be a dog in his home. I look forward to our three-month milestone!

Milton has adjusted so well to home life and now LOVES walks, treats, snuggles, belly rubs, and playing wrestle with his big sis! We are so happy to have him in our family! — Barbie Swanson
